Bio Info:
Livia Du'Prae
She had left
her horse along the river, tied to a tree. For she
was sure the house was empty yet one could never
tell. Her thieve guilds sent many initiations to
places just like this. Yet never this place, it
had been her long life dream to enter this place
and take from it the rare treasures few new of.
She knew cause it was her job to know such
things, being a guild officer. Oh but she acted
alone this night, not out of greed it was the
challenge that had driven her this night. As she
used her pick to unlock the door, she smiled
smugly pushing the door open she entered, silent
as a mouse in her leather boots. She let her eyes
adjust to the darkness and began to explore the
place making sure it was indeed empty for there
was a royal ball that the house occupants should
of been attending. Moving towards the stairs she
glanced at the painting on the wall, and then she
made her way upstairs. as it winded for the
second time, she caught a beautiful mural of a
winters night in Paris,on the cieling. Glanceing
into each room she smiles, alone. She made her way
to the master bedroom, her tools in hand. The room
was beautiful the bed had a canopy, the lace
dropped like a curtain to shield one from the sun
or to keep hidden that which the couple do from
there children. Now to find where they would hide
such a safe. Her eyes took in the room. Stepping
to the window she gazes outward, making sure noone
is coming.
*~Paris Marseilles~*
*A twitch of
an ear and he looks up from where he knelt. The
owners of this home had been semi inteligent,
having hid the safe behind one of the dressers
near the base of the floor. Had he been a common
thief or possibly even mortal he would have
overlooked it, unfortunately for them he wasnt.
The sound os the door having caught his
attention, though the sound was almost
undetectable he never did a job without letting
his sences stay fully alert.Rising quickly he
slips to one fo the darker corners that was well
concealed by a large cabinet. He was in the
master bedroom and the night shadows hid him
well. But before he takes refuge he quickly
reconceals the safe, not before he pockets the
valuebales of course*

She glanced at the dresser
then to the painting on the wall,a smile as she
drew closer to the painting. She glanced behind
it,and sighed. So a clever family,well if I were
wanting to be clever I would oh yes. She searched
behind the oval mirror that sat a top of the
dresser, when she glanced down and at the base of
the floor it sat. shakeing her head and laughing
softly she kneeled down, and with pick in hand she
finally unlocked it. '' empty, how can this be''
An expression of disapointment fell over her as
she stood, her eyes closed. '' I do not
understand, it should of been here, she never
wears it to the balls''
*~Paris Marseilles~*
*From where
he hides he can see your entry wich brings a wry
smile to his face, so...he had competition this
night? Well wont they just be heart broken that
he beat them to the prize, but at that moment you
pass threw the dim moon light that leaks threw
some near by curtains. Silently he remains
kneeling in his hiding spot and slowly his smile
grows, if he had been visible it could have made
some of the most determined women doubt thier
resolve.Watching for a few moments longer in mild
amusement as you search the common places he
waites till you kneel beside the safe to make his
move. Slowly, carefully he stands and makes his
way to you...no sound betraying him as he moves
to stand just behidn you. bending down and
leaning close he whispers in a soft, teasing
voice.*And what m'dear? Is it that should be
here?*His breath was oddly cold agianst neck
and ear but still he doesnt touch you*
Livia
Du'Prae
She stood still like a child caught
with her hands in the candy jar. the hairs on the
back of neck stood as she felt her body shiver ''
a necklace'' while she spoke, her hand fell to her
inner thigh and fell over the hilt of a beautiful
dagger. '' Its rare as you know and made of ivory
and jade, the color of my eyes'' A grin fell over
her lips as the poisoned dagger slipped from it
sheath quietly '' so it seems I had competition
and am late. she begins to stand slowly and
turning just as slow to get a look at the thief
that shared her thoughts this night .
*~Paris Marseilles~*
*You're gaze is met by his own, his face still
holding that taunting smile that was also oh so
very tempting. He stood there calm, relaxed just
watching you at them moment then he nods and
speaks once more, his voice as soft as
before*Ahhh yes, you mean this one?*His
action is almost to fast to follow as he
retrieves the necklace from its safe spot in a
pouch at his side. A silent warning not a taunt
or mockery. He hadnt seen the blade drawn nor did
he now know you heald it, he simply knew his own
kinda and also knew the best way to keep one in
check was make sure they knew when they had been
out matched. Holding the jewlery up with both
hands so you might confirm it he casually takes a
step back and rests on the bed.*I certainly
hope its the same for if not then I too have been
duped.
Livia Du'Prae
As her eyes
met his,she took in a deep breath, he was not at
all what she had expected. A brief moment she had
almost regretted her vow to her guild it was
something all officers were to do for the
position. Men were to become almost nil in there
lives, the guild first. Her beautiful jade eyes
caught him off-guard as it did most who really
took time to look at them.
His words and
his actions alerted her,he was very agile, his
smile made her want to punch him and another
emotion stirred within yet she kept in just
beneath the surface. She drew closer to look at
the necklace,it was even more beautiful than she
had hoped, yet was not in her possession, which
brought a look of disapointment. Her hand as she
had made her way to the bed had casually and
quick as she could placed the dagger back in
place,he didn't seem to be threatening her merely
just toying and teasing her. Also her senses told
her she was most outmatched not that she wouldn't
fight valiantly to live if she was pressed to.
Absently she went to reach for the
necklace, one of her weaknesses was jewels, and she
had known this was her birthright, yet this family
had taken the life of her families when she was a
child and claimed this home as theres. Along with
all the jewels it possessed. '' It is lovely and
assure you you were not duped'' Her eyes again
fell on his and she smiled. '' I did alot of
planning and watching of this home to make sure I
didn't fail tonight yet I did not in all my
months of studying and planning anticipate you in
the scheme,not that I should have I suppose. ''
Laughing softly as I realize I lost this
night I bowed to him and began to back away. '' I
shall let you enjoy your lute sir,and take leave
of you'' though a plan in the back of her mind
was forming, she tossed it aside, she did not play
games such as that not even for the necklace. For
seducing one for such a jewel would be a sweet
game yet as she gazed at him something whispered
within telling her such a game could be most
dangerous he was not like most she met something
tugged at her to leave, and tugged at her to stay
play the game take a chance. turning she made her
way to the door, turning to look at him~ ''
Goodnight Sir''
*~Paris Marseilles~*
*The smile
never leaves his face though an amused twinkle
can be seen in his eyes*You disappoint me
m'lady, I thought you would atleast offer up a
challenge for the necklace.*His voice was
taunting yet also tempting. Without a thought he
moves as if to follow you and as he does so he
speaks agian.*If you wont stay then atleast
indulge me by giving me your name, So that I will
have it incase we meet agian.
Livia
Du'Prae
'' well I am sorry to hear that
seems this night is full of disapointments'' She
hears him as he seems to follow her,she leans
against the wall just outside the bedroom. ''
Challenge, what kind of challenge would one have
in mind? To me the challenge was all the planning
and entering this place,I mean really what
challenge is there now if I wanted the necklace I
could easily persuade you yet the price as I gaze
into those eyes filled with amusement could be a
little higher ~her eyes gaze at the pouch
absently, just within her grasp a stolen kiss and
its mine,a hidden smile falls over her lips~ ''
Livia Du'Prae Sir and do you have a name?''
*~Paris
Marseilles~*
*At your words of the planning and entering being
the challenge a brow raises in
curiousity*Planning? Entering? Oh no m'lady,
these are not the challenges. What challenge is
there when the occupants are away and the home is
unguarded?*The sensation to leave yet desire
to stay only seems to grow stronger within you as
he steps even closer, his manerism still relaxed
and calm and the necklace still held loosely
within his hand.*No m'lady these are not the
challenges to these games we play. The challenge
comes when it is time to avoid the hunt, When its
time to stay safe from those who want what you
have.*Now once more merely inches from you he
leans in closer still, his cool breath on your
ear as he whispers ever so softly.*I do in
deed have a name Lady Du'Prae, but when the hunt
comes for those who took such jewelery I would
rather not my name find its way into the
searchers ears.*Keeping his face close to
yours he moves to stand behind you and reaches
his arms about your neck, Placeing the necklace
in place there and fastening to hang in its glory
on you.His face still inches from the side of
your head as he whispers once more.*There is
your prize Lady Livia Du'Prae, How long do you
think you can keep it?
Livia
Du'Prae
As he draws close an alarm within
as she begins to take a step back, part of her
wanting to leave another part of her desires to
stay. The necklace he still holds so the pouch
would be useless,a soft sigh escapes as he does
point out the truth, what challenge she had made
it easy to steal well except she did not plan on
meeting him. '' true perhaps I took away the fun
part of the challenge and should of snuck in
while the home was occupied'' another step back
as he continued to grow closer and her back was
against the wall.turning to make sure she wasn't
trapped, yet his breath was eerily cool against
her ear as he whispered into it,a shiver down her
body. '' I at this moment have nothing hat they
would want, you on the other hand, and I would
not whisper your name there is honor amongst
theives'' ~her words fell softly, though as she
realized her back was to him a little to late, his
face was so close to hers,he could feel her
tremble as his hands fall about her
neck, surprised that he placed the necklace in her
possession, his face still inches from hers as she
turns to face him the warmth of her breath
against his lips as they are inches apart~ ''
Prize, I do not understand I have a feeling I can
keep it as long as you allow,or have you declared
a hunt'' Her jade eyes show confusion as she
searches your eyes,a whispered voice cries run
another voice says be smart and stand your
ground '' why have you placed the necklace around
my neck, what games do you play?''
*~Paris Marseilles~*
I play the games we all play Lady
Du'Prae.*His face still holds that smile of
his and the eyes still twinkle in amusement. He
doesnt back away as you face him, he simplys
pulls his face back so that he is watching you
face to face and not whispering in your ear.*
You wish to know why I give you the prize, but
I ask you this. Those of our kind take what we
want not for the value but for the beauty and
challenge yes? Well the curse of this is that
when you find something more desirable and more
of a challenge that becomes the focus and all
else looses its interest.*His eyes dart down
to the necklace that now hangs about your neck
before returning to your own eyes.*Well I have
now found a prize I desire more than I ever could
such a trinket.
Livia
Du'Prae
Her beautiful jade eyes watch and
take everything in as she studies him. '' True it
seems you do and the more dangerous the game
becomes the more appealing I have always found''
He still wore that smile, which sent her wanting
to run,yet her desire to remain won, nodding as he
speaks of her wanting knowledge of why he gave to
her the necklace~ '' true, our kind most
definitely like the challenge and beauty, though
some are in it for the wealth as well. '' I
suppose your right such a thing would become your
focus almost like an obsession '' Her hand falls
over the necklace as she watches his gaze move
down to the necklace he placed around her neck.
that matched her eyes perfectly. Again she meets
his eyes, her hand fell from the necklace as she
took a breath his words tugged at her heart, she
found them alarming, and yet she felt herself
melt. she could not move, even though part of her
wanted to leave this place and get air. '' I do
not know what to say, I find what I think yor
meaning a little alarming part of me finds it
charming yet something within tells me I am in
grave danger yet '' ~takes a step forward~ ''
perhaps I should give this back to you'' Her hand
move ot her neck, trying to unhook the clasp, as
she stands before him she grows silent again a
strong desire to stay overwhelms her,she lets her
hands fall to her sides '' You scare me, with
such words''
*~Paris Marseilles~*
*He stands
silent a moment watching you, holding your gaze
with his eyes. The amused twinkle seems to dim
just slightly, or had it altered a bit to that of
a predetor enjoying the chase? Though the smile
remins as he speaks.* And why is it my words
scare you? Do you fear that I desire you or do
you fear the knowledge that I may have you?*
With this siad his hand reaches out and ever so
gently caresses your cheek, his touch so gentle
its almost imperceptible.* Keep the prize Lady
Du'Prae, keep it for what ever reason you desred
it to begin with or keep it in remembrance of
this night.*With this siad he lets his ahnd
fall from your face and he looks to the window.*
The ball will have ended by now and the owners
will be home soon.*Looking back to you he
smiles a bit wider and you can feel the desire to
stay subisde ever so slightly, though it still
pressent none the less.* We will meet agian,
This I assure you Lady Du'Prae. But for now I
will take my leave.*With a quick look about
he lets his eyes rest apon yours agian.* I
suggest you be quick about anything else you plan
to do here and take your leave as well.*With
this siad he reaches up to once more caress your
cheek before turning to leave and heading
silently for the door.*
Livia
Du'Prae
She couldn't seem to look away as
there eyes met, though the twinkle dimmed she
wasn't sure she liked watching it alter for it
sent a chill down her,and his smile still
remained. '' I think it is myself I fear when I
am close to you,and yes something bout you
desiring me scares me . If you think you can have
me your mistaken, I have not given myself to you
or anyone and that will be my decision who I give
myself to. Her eyes close at the touch of his
hand upon her cheek, his gentleness surprising her
as she pressed her cheek against his hand
gently,as he spoke my name again he seemed so
hauntingly familier,that my body trembled. '' I
shall not forget this night, and what name shall I
whisper to myself to remind me of you? My eyes
follow his to the window, nodding as she
remembered where she was. for a moment she was
lost within his touch and everything revolved
around the two. '' I do not doubt we shall meet
again but your right we should make our exit''
Struggleing with the necklace, for she was not
stupid enough to wear it outside the
house, slipping it into the pouch at her waist. As
our eyes met again I bowed '' I must say it has
been an adventurous night, eyes close again as his
hand falls upon her face, she brings her hand to
rest on his lightly, then as his hand falls away
she follows him out the door and into the night.
she made her way towards her horse quickly, she
still felt a desire just beneath the surface to
be near him. ''damn get a grip'' the guild
leader, she had been like a mother to her from the
time she found her wandering in the forest.
Growing up she trained her in the art of
theft, which she had become a thief at heart. for
she had been taught men were not to be trusted
for they would only break her heart like the
woman who raised her she had her heart broken and
so she kept Livia protected of such things. Yet
in her sheltered existence she had not been
prepared for such a meeting as she had
encountered tonight, she had to fight hard to keep
her emotions within.
