LaChelle has been with me for so long now, I can not remember a time when she was not. She was the first childe I embraced. There was just something about her attitude and her fierce loyalty to her friends that made me seek her. This has yet to happen again. All of my other children have come to me.
I have my suspicions that she is bloodbound to a Brujah, but I cannot prove this. I have asked her, and she swears it is not so, but she has so many of the mannerisms....and the skills. I shudder to think of some of the skills my dear, sweet daughter is knowledgeable of. I do know that she can kill a fellow kindred in less time than it takes for any other kindred to move across a room. I have had to employ her on a few occasions to do some of the "family" work when an embrace failed to learn to be of our family.
Drastic measures, you may say, but in our family, loyalty and respect are what make us a family. And LaChelle is the most loyal of all my children. I know they all love and respect me....but I doubt that any would kill for me....at least not as quickly or unquestionably as she would.
