For much of my life I lived in what is known as
the Earth Realm. But I wasn’t happy there, because
despite all it’s wonders it had lost the magic
that I sought. Then I one day I discovered a
gateway to another world, a world were magic still
existed. I feel in love with this new world and
for the first time in my life felt as if I had
found my true home. However, for some reason I
could abandon my life in the Earth Realm and so I
lived in both worlds. Then one day when I
attempted the crossing something happened and I
became trapped between worlds. Now all I can do is
send a small piece of what is me into the material
world. You see my physical body was ripped in half
when the crossing failed. Luckily my mind, or soul
if want to call it that, was sucked into Limbo.
For a long time I just drifted there; but slowly I
began to discover that small parts of me were
connected to various realms, such as this one.
With practice I learned to project myself into
these realms. It isn't the same as being here; it
is more like looking through a window. I can see
and hear everything that happens but I can’t act
with it physically.
